Anyone has a good and safe method on removing the lip spoiler? I believe the body shop use double side tape to secure them. Do you guys think I can use a heat gun to melt the glue?

Just use dental floss...........the heavy duty type works best, no heat gun required . Good luck

+1, just slide it back and forth like a saw, if you need to practice try cutting some cheese or butter with the dental floss first.. ..good luck..(also the way to go if you want to debadge your e60)

Dental floss is great
Alternatively, heat gun or hair drier to heat up the tape will also work

I was at my body shop today and they said I will damage the paint on the trunk if I try to remove it. Has anybody done that before without any damage?

I'll try dental floss tonight. Should I use heat gun? Will it melt the spoiler? I have no idea what material that is.

The spoiler is sold.

Don't use a heat gun the floss will do the job , heat guns do bad things with plastics and paint...... GL

So do I just use dental floss to "saw" the glue out?
