thx for the reply guys, Im trying to install my coilover kit just trying to see how hard is it to remove I have done many swaps b4 for honda/Acura this is my 1st time work with E60.

well dude i just changed mine and honestly if your not a extremly handy person do not attempt just pay and get done. it took me about 3-4hrs just to do front springs for my 08 528i. its hard dude it really is but if u can do the front the backs are simple. um i wish i wudve tooken some pics while doing mine but unfortunaly i didnt. and im not the best at writing DIY instructions but if u got any specific questions ill try to help
