Please clarify something for me. I am creating a shopping list for my audio upgrade and I am looking at the 8" subs under the seats and the amplifier needed to drive them. I am focusing in on the SWS8 speakers but not a specific amp. I thought I only needed 2 channels for the two speakers but in reading something on Crutchfields, I see something that says I need 4 channels. Which is correct?

I am on a tight budget so if anyone can recommend an appropriate amp for these speakers that is low cost, I would appreciate it. I am more in to quality than loudness and listen to classic rock or jazz mostly.

2 channels for 2 speakers should do dont see why you would want to run 2 other channels
