Sorry to bring up this topic. I got PWM_AN_SL_V_AL_1_34 set to wert_01 and all is good in that department, thanks for that. What I am having issues with is working with WL_SL_1 and setting it to hart_einschalten. I believe this is supposed to instantly turn on the angel eyes with welcome lights, however it is not doing this on my end. I checked on BMWCoding and found that variable is for rear lights, but that info was for an E90 so still trying to figure it out on an E60. The AEs do come on with the welcome lights, however it fades in causing problems with HID ballasts since it needs 12v instantly.

Anyone get their AE to turn on instantly with coding using that variable?

Thanks!

I wasn't able to code hart_einshalten either...I failed in posting that. Seemed logical it would be an option...

I have been moving for the last few days, but when I get a chance to look in the LMA of my E60 I want to see if WL_SL_1 actually pertains to the halos because in all other cases SL has to be associated with V (for vorne = front) to differentiate between the rear SL lights that also show up in some LMA/FRM files.

Thanks for the update. I am hoping to get some time this weekend for a little more coding and wanted to tested WL_SL_1 as well. Last weekend I did a quick test and it jumped from 0v->6v->12v
So something is a little of. I have hart_einshalten set for my fog lights and they come on right away causing no problems with my ballasts.

Ran some tests today and on my E60 LCI, WL_SL_1 controls my taillights. Tested other WL_ variables, however still can't find the specific one that controls the angel eyes. Was setting everything to nicht_aktiv at one point.

does this work on LCI only or pre-LCI as well. does pre-LCI AEs also dim down when headlights are on, this is not applicable to pre-LCI? thanks

Do you happen to know which parameter i have to change in order to get inactive angel eyes with low beam on? wert_02...supposing?
Because in the night time there are many problems with HID angel eyes - very bright and embarass the other people in traffic.
If i use the relay harness H8 i get 12V on DRL mode and on parking lights also, isnt't it?
