Tried all settings from wert_01 to wert_07.

wert_02 disables angel eyes completely with main beams on. Eyebrows stay on. Interestingly enough, it looks very good.

All other settings don't seem to enable any new light configuration which we don't know yet - at least I couldn't notice. Please try on your car, maybe I'm wrong. I'm looking for a setup where 12V angel rings (DRL) come up with eyebrows on in mode 0 or auto mode.

However it bugs me that 01 stores 01 + 04, 03 stores 03 + 07. It adds the second line on its own.

What does that mean?

I discovered this today:

It seems it's not actually running at 12V with this setting (wert_01) in all modes.. Judging by the eye, it could be about 10V with main beams or in DRL mode.

It only runs on 12V on parking lights.

Anyone can measure this?

I'm surprised nobody is interested in this mod.

I am interested because this mod allows me to run a POS eBay HID AE set-up. Just paid 40 bucks for a 10,000K 35W H8 set - a little nervous to use eBay stuff, but the risk is low.

You need to re-read the thread about what this is about.

10,000K HID looks awesome! Although...I am definitely one to modify my car...obviously, but not when it is obnoxious or unsafe. These HID AE's may be both - it is almost as bright, if not brighter than the actual headlight.

Also, I was wrong in the first post on this threat, I do not see a way to change soft_einschaltung (however it's spelled) to 'hart' - no matter what I do the AE's fade on and off with the welcome lights, and while the strobing effect is cool, it's also a bit unnecessary and probably damaging to the ballast's.

Every other time I unlock my car, no welcome lights come on at all, so something is fishy....

Does anyone know how the new-new E9x cars have such bright blue AE's?

Should the inner-side halogen light of each headlight light up when cornering? Or what is its function? This one - the inner which is not lit up on the picture:

Mine started to turn on/off when cornering slowly, parking or backing up. I've never noticed it happening before switching PWM_AN_SL_V_AL_1_34 from wert_06 to wert_01.

Not sure how I missed this post. I'll have to check (LMA) when I get the chance, but there is not reference to welcome light for AE's? That is a bit odd to me.

Anyway Chase, the reason for the strobe is because of the kit. For people that I have installed John's HID AE kit, it works perfectly every time.
