How Do I Make A Wireless Hub?

In my bedroom I have my home PC connected to a 2wire wireless router ( 2701HG-B ). The TV as well as my xbox 360 and ps2 and Wii are in my living room and i do not wish to run a cable out there. Is there a wireless router/ hub that I can put near my tv that will pick up the wireless signal and let me plug ethernet cables into it, to run to my tv and game systems? THanks

You are looking for a wireless bridge...I think some routers can be setup as a bridge but I don't know specific models off the top of my head but hope this helps your search

I know that many Linksys access points (as well as some of their other products) support bridge mode so you may want to start there. Also, keep in mind that you might end up needing a device for the wireless bridge part and an external hub to plug into it. In other words, you may not be able to find one box that has both the bridge and the hub combined.
You may also want to look into the concept of power-line bridges. Instead of wireless, they use your existing electrical (AC) wiring to transmit things. Again, I think Linksys has some products that use this technology...

I did a similar setup for my place but the wireless tended to have issues and I went to the power-line option. Wireless is going to depend upon your home, and if there is anything in the way of the signal.

Dlink 1522AP has wireless bridge mode - it's what I use for my PS3. I had heard PS3 had a problem with wireless encryption so I use the AP as a bridge and still run my WPA2 Enterprise (yes, I do have a RADIUS server
