there must only be like a million threads on this but simple....basically move the whole plastic "piece" to the left and stick something underneath the left side and pop it out. once u got it out with some wiggling then just pop the bulb out stick in the LED festoon and put the "plastic piece" back in.....that one piece isnt that easy to break unlike some other plastic pieces on the beamer.....

It's pretty easy. It might help to pop the trunk and then work on it.

Sorry to tread jack, but I still can't get the light out. And I completely bent the piece. I stuck flat head into the little hole on the left of it, and turn it. But it wont budge.

I just did this after running into the same trouble as you did. What you need to do is, instead of twisting, just use the screwdriver to move the entire assembly to the right (it will slide). Then, pry the left side away from the trunk to unlatch it there (I used my fingers), then slide the whole assembly back to the left and out. In my opinion the manual is not clear about exactly how to do this!

Actually, the manual is the one that saved me lol, and your comment.
Kinda put 2 and 3 together

Came out to be really simple, all this time i was thinking "twist this thing to the left..."
They look fantastic now.

thanks!
