Here is the hose that snapped and i talked about a while ago...
its been connected via duct tape for a while now...any reason i should be worried? or anything i should look out for

Fix it up permanently - it's part of the emission control system and fumes will eventually crap up your engine compartment too!

Most BMW parts are numbered - remove the tape and look for a part number if you're unsure - or bring the picture to the dealer. If you have less than 80k miles try for an emissions part replacement under the US emissions warranty. Worth a try at the dealer.
