Hood and Rear trunk lid

My Ride: BMW 535xi
Model Year: 2008
I noticed on my 535 the rear corners of the hood do not align with the adjacent metal trim at the base of the windshield. Same poor alignment where the trunk lid is supposed to align with the metal trim above each rear lid hinge. Has anyone adjusted the height of the hood and the trunk lid, at the hinges, so that it aligns with the adjacent body metal?

Thats something that the dealer should correct, I've never noticed body alignment issues on BMWs , It was never in an accident was it ??
