HELP!! DIY fog install
i tried looking at this and this is really no help.

anyone have a more in depth DIY? My HID has the ballast so i have to hide those and i really have no idea about this.
A friend was going to help me but he cant today and i am just to excited to wait.

That is actually the best thread to do your fogs on this forum. I used this exact thread when I swapped my fogs on my old 530. The only other alternative would be to put the car on a lift and remove the front, under belly plate to get a better view/look inside. You should be able to mount the ballasts anywhere inside. You might want to consider using a bonding agent as well. I did this instead of using the tap screws to mount the ballasts.

You can also take off the headlight to mount the ballast correct and plug in the bulbs for the fog.
i did it while installing my m-tech front bumper, with everything off the hid fog install was so simple... otherwise def just go the route of taking off the headlight helps if u cut the wheel and jack up one side at a time to get in the fender liner

waiting is the worst when you want something real bad.. mine went pretty easy like the install shown..had to maneuver my skinny arm like a pretzel.. but i got it.. i think the drivers side was harder on my car..good luck

Follow the DIY... I found the driver's side more difficult as well.
