I think the F10 will look like what he has done with masking tape, I think the light would get wider vertically and look more the e39 series , but let's see

I think it makes the car look like one of those BMW knock-offs 
(There was a picture of an X5 knock-off floating around here recently in China I think). If its authentic, why mess with it??
