Sure, you could do that, but who wants a shiny pitted headlight? I'd rather sand the whole thing down so it looks AND feels new.. lol

lol.. scotch scrubby pad is usually a plastic abrasive, the kind you see on the back side of your kitchen sponge. It would be the green side, the side which would require "elbow grease" which is you putting in some effort with your arm by moving it back and forth at the elbow

I heard they sold elbow grease at the drug store. It usually comes a can and is well hidden in the back isles (by the leg and arm brace sections)
