Hello guys, I am planning to do my headlights.. any sugestions.. what would be better
sand paper 1500 and 2000 or 1500, 2500, 3000.

are this two options good for the job or one could be better then the other..

any comments

Thanks guys, thats why I ask because of those two treads, don't know if the two would work just as the same..

 

doubt they would work the same, each having a different abbrassive effect...I think that's why all 3 different types were used in Keith's DIY

 

looks like keith would be better I would think, because of the finer grade..but only comparing the headlighs hehe maybe one of those two had less hairlines

Both options you mentioned (1500/2000 and 1500/2500/3000) can be effective for restoring clarity to your headlights. This is good to know. I have a question.... previous owner of my car already restored the headlights but they're now fogged up again. He said he applied a protectant to them but they eventually degraded again. Given they've been restored once, would a second attempt hurt?

 

You can restore until you put a whole in it. Lol
