did them on mine. pretty easy, just need a steady hand and patience.
i used the staples brand silver paint marker since they didn't have the elmers. it looks exactly the same and just as durable.

I was thinking of getting the chrome grill off ebay but decided to give this route a try first.
Got the silver metalic (fine point) pen from Staples. It has like ball inside to shake the pen and the tip is pushed on a paper to get the paint to flow. Patient is the key--took a long time so I only did one coat. Probably will go over it one more time when I have some time. At the end I used an odorless paint thinner dab on a clean cloth wrapped in one of my index finger. The idea is to swipe the side (in between grill bar) while rotating the finger to get off any marks. Rotating will get the mis-marks off without smearing the paint to other areas. This also will smooth out the edge and gives a very clean look.
It looks great! The grill have a brush aluminum look to it. Not sure how durable it will be but definitely the cheapest mod I've done so far.
