So, can i use the same vaseline that is in my nightstand next my box of kleenex, right? J/k.
Seriously though, rubbing alcohol works well to clean rubber before applying vaseline. This makes for a cleaner more airtight seal.

So far its still called Gummi pflege in DK. Got a bottle of Gummi pflege from BMW 2 weeks ago and applied it through thorough rubbing. So far success... No squeaking noises

The reason that BMW discontinued Gummipflege is that it contains a silicone derivate, which in time causes the seals to deteriorate.
Carboflo is its official successor and should only be applied after a silicone cleaning solution has been used.

I just used Zymol seal to lub the door seals and the rubber seals next to it (all 4 doors and trunk rubber seal). Will see whether it works or not...

In the poster's picture, it looks like everyone is applying the Vaseline to the top of the door. In my car I always thought it was where the window touched the rubber with the windows all the way up, no? Because I never hear the squeak if the windows are slightly down but I was afraid to lube the glass. I will try this on the top of the door to see if it solves the annoying squeaking once and for all!

Did it work?
