When I run my retrofit attempt I stopped with the angel eyes issue. Your solution with the fog light wiring was great but I didn't have it in my M5.
Maybe I still need the LCM to get it fully working with all LCI functions.

contact MY530i user,fred,and he can explain how to use 2 relays ,and all work ok

I have the D2S. car's 9/2004 - with xenon, adaptive.
I found a set of new LCI bixenon, adaptive, complete for 1k euros. The only thing i could reuse is the transformer I guess.
I might jump on them...
