Can anyone confirm this will work ERROR FREE on startup on my 2004 E60 525i?

According to this message board they say these bulbs are too bright. Two times brighter than OEM LEDs.

From my research looks like these two products are identical?

Anyone using this product? Any feedback?

I have license plate LEDs for sale. If you're afraid of ANY messages during startup, I recommend getting the radio shack 10 ohm 50 watt resistor. Sent u a PM

 

those are the same that we have. some do get an error message, some dont. some that have received the message has done the same thing as recommended above, adding resistors.

 

You should consider the RD as well. They are super bright and error free.

I added the 10 ohm 50 watt resistor from radio shack ... turning the light on only for like 1 min the resistor was pretty hot. i wonder if it will last during hot summer nights.

will my LED go out, resistor or both?

I'm not sure if I want LEDs that bright for the license plate wish they made ones half as bright as the RD ones.

 

The LEDs will burn out eventually due to the heat from resistor. Just buy a bunch and stock up on LEDs, I had the same setup until I fed up with changing it every 3/4 months and the level of brightness. RD is the sh!t.

 

The resistor is a good inch or two from the LEDs hope that helps. If these go out I'll try the RDs... maybe I could use a black sharpie marker and darken half of the LEDs so it's not so bright.

 

Why get LEDs? If you're not into brightness.
