So the time has come to finaly install!!!
Will start by saying a huge thanks to brabusw209amg for shipping the LED's over and purchasing them from his local radio shack and also collecting a few extra from DKNewYork so a thanks to you also
Things i have purchased:
19x 4pin white LED's
Glue Gun & Sticks
Soldering Aid kit (With picks and stuff)
Lead-Free Solder
Mini blow torch
Im going to attempt this all tomorrow so am just preping today. Need to find my soldering iron and that should be me sorted!
Iv had a look at a few peoples guides on here and they have been more than helpfull.. but unlike some of you i dont intend to take my head lights out and just leave them in.. I dont see why this should be a problem
Anyways.. will take a few piccys and keep you all upto date
Wish me luck!

You're missing the black silicone on that list. Not sure what's in the Soldering Aid kit, but you will need a desoldering tool too. I tried it without it and had a hard time taking the solder out.
*You need to get black silicone and apply it after the hot glue. This is a must. The hot glue is not good enough. Make sure you seal it good to avoid having to take it out, dry it and reseal it..

Thanks DKNewYork, I will get some black silicone in the morning
The Aid kit has: levers, hooks, scrapers, knife, forks ect.. great tooks for the job!
I cant find a desoldering kit localy unfortunatly, but i will take my time and use the hooks ect to remove all the old solder, there really small hooks so should do the trick
Will i be the first in the UK to do this mod?

Someone could make some good money if they buy a set of headlight assemblies, perform this mod, and sell them to customers who trade in thier stock units...

defintely find a desoldering kit. It makes the job a lot easier. And defintely get silcone. I glued it and then silicones it. I had to redo mine on one side twice! Such a headache. I think I'm going to do this for a forum member, for a minor fee of course. Heh. Good luck and post pics.
Oh yea, make sure u test it out before u put it back into the car to make sure all the LEDs are white. A lot of us had ones that weren't white but amberish.
