I just bought a used set of eibach prokit springs for a 545i from a member here. I was just wondering if I need to cut some of the bump stop off in order to install it. Who ever has these springs pls chime in so I can get them installed asap, thanks

Isn't it recommended to cut the bump stops a little bit?

If you have non sport package, you will probably need to cut it.

I have H&R Sport on my 545 Sport Package and I still feel the slight bounce because I didn't cut it.
Check out my thread for good discussion:

I'll be trimming the Bump Stop whenever I replace the struts in the future.
