You should close both the small pipe and other larger side as the bypass i got has a block on both sides on the jublee side and small rubber pipe side

I tried today just to disable the small hose for the EGR valve, after 2 miles I had yellow light on the dashboard (kind of pump) it is the engine management and it said: Increased emission.

I don't know, maybe you have different engine management, but for me it does not work at all.

Il try and take one as i have bolted the engine cover back down try blocking both sides not just one

The best thing with it fitted the black smoke has gone
