Hey guys, I'm installing a Laser Interceptor and I'm wondering where the most accessible passage is through the firewall. Ideally on the passenger side but if it's much easier on the driver's side, I'll consider that.

Any pics or DIY articles would be a great help as well!

Thanks!

wire it to the cigarette lighter in the pass footwell. never go through the firewall if you dont have to. may I ask what you need to access in the engine compartment?

The LI laser jammer has two modules that you mount to grill/bumper that need to be wired to the control module inside the car.

actually, when i used to work on car stereos, i used to try to push wires through the rubber boot attached to the steering column. dont know how BMWs are set up. all you need is one of those sharp poker screwdriver things.

I'm really hoping someone who has done some wiring from the engine bay to the interior can help me out here... Thanks!

>Easiest access through firewall?, Where?

I recommend kidnapping Harrison Ford's character's family and forcing him to break through the firewall for you.
