Hi! I've allways wanted a automatic trunk, like the one in this video (not my car, found it on youtube):
Have anyone retrofitted this option? Is there a DIY? Have searched the forum but couldn't find any.

I don't think it would be a difficult option to add - but I have never seen a DIY. Your best bet is to look on realoem.com for the necessary hardware part numbers, and look on spaghetticoder for the wiring information. I wish this was an option for E60 chassis, I would definitely make this upgrade.

I want to have this option too.I know you need module lying under spare wheel,wiring and electric mechanism. Any advices are welcome.I share my knowledge I`ll find on this theme.
