I recently purchased a 2006 550i with the sport package. I'm planning on geeting rims and tires. rim size 19"x8.5 front and 19"x9.5" rear. most info is showing me that i can use 245/35/19" and 275/30/19" tires but i have seen cars with 245/40/19" and 275/35/19". Can someone let me know if the larger tire will rub. Thanks.

also - how well do AC schnitzer 1 piece wheels hold up to NY road conditions or does it all depend on my driving??

Hi,

You can actually get 19x8.5/10 for the rim and run 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 tires with no rubbing. This is what most people are running on the forums. I can't speak for the AC Schnitzer wheels, but if you're interested in other forged wheels, let me know.

+1 with Michael Id suggest sticking to the recommended sizes of sidewalls 35 and 30.
