Yeah i have full fold, and when put in reverse mirror dip! and of course able to move the mirror by my buttons so i can actually see out

so what is it that you dont have compared to the OEM mirrors? what is the quality like? i am surprised they have mirrors for the lci cars - hardly any m5 mirrors being sold online on ebay for lci cars, mostly for the build from 09/05 to 03/07.

do you have the internal/external mirror package? do you have memory seats?

My LCI has every feasable, possible extra there is available !

No, the mirrors dont have the puddle lamp, but im not bothered, the full mirror is carbon fiber, and even has the heated glass.

I didnt buy them from ebay - i had them custom made, Ca automotive had them done for me. perfect fit and fantastic quality, flawless.

thanks

Hi Guy,

i just chatted to ca automotive. i now understand why their models work with every e60 regardless of pre lci, post lci etc. basically they make you build in the motor mechanics from your old mirrors in your new mirrors. did i understand this correctly? have you done it aswell? complicated?

price was ok - 400 poounds for the standard m5 mirrors. no chromatic functionality and no led lighting, otherwise everything else (simply because you are building in your mechanics from your old mirror)..

doesnt mean it will fit all - i mean all i did was take the motor out - everything else was done for me and bolted right in place - took me 5 mins to take motor out and put in my carbon ones....

and im not very technical minded

all in all once i figured out how to take off the standard mirrors it took me 15 mins ... EASY

...yes that is what they told me. take the motor out, screw it on to the new mirrors and you are all set to go....

5 mins -sounds good...

question: does your auto-dip work when you put you put your car in reverse (provided the switch is on the left side)?

thanks

on the website http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/variants-Y2...Q9MjAwOA==.html
it says that it comes with 2 electrical motor plates, does it mean you dont want to get the motor off your old mirrors now??
