E60 grille removal

I have a 2008 Black Sapphire 535i on which I am replacing the grille with a carbon fibre grille. The instructions and posts that I've seen seem to apply to 2007 and earlier, as the grille tabs seem to be pretty inaccessible. Any ideas? thanks
