not to ruin the "hard work"of Dr Frankenstein's but wait for the NBT ( https://plus.google.com/u/0/10594439...ts/MNuM6hFt8mb ) for our e60..and then...excitement ..COMING NEAR U ?))

I found a complete setup from an m6 Cab for a little over $1k. And yes, you can go from M-ASK to CIC. There are a few threads on here that go step by step from non nav to full CIC nav. Good Luck!

I'm not seeing too many features that are missing from a CIC with Combox setup. Videos are of no use to me as the only useful video I need is my Night Vision while driving to stay clear of deer and other animals in the suburbs.

I think the pinout for video input differs between CCC and CIC. My TV tuner also stopped working after CIC upgrade (I never bothered to fix it, but I have looked it up).

Try the info in this link:

Hey guys, going to chime in on Night Vision, I was reading a thread on BimmerFest and then came across your issues here. Might be something to do with wiring and connection pins.

Checkout this and following pages to hopefully resolve NV issue, Specifically post 297:

Night vision for cic requires moving the two wires in the white connector in the big black radio connectir to pins 2 and 12.

And you also have to change the NVC setting in the CIC trace file from wert 23 to wert 21. Use ncsexpert and ncsdummy for this to make it easier to retrieve and manipulate try files.
