Hi Anyone help with this please?

I am getting the dpf light coming on , it takes exactly 8 minutes to do this each time I start up?
Have diagnostics s/ware on the way but could still do with some help, trying to avoid stealership

Hi Antti,
Thanks for your reply, have had a look at your great job, Did you really drill a hole through it? and it still did the regen after?
I do not have any loss of power, the car goes very well except the turbo screams a bit when its cold, I am waiting for diagnostic software to arrive will update this once I have given it a go.
many thanks again for your post
Ian

Thumbs up DPF Light E62 530d Auto

Have had diagnostics done - Glow plugs all shot and o2 sensor broke - causing more soot than the DPF can cope with.
I am changing them tomorrow along with the main and EGR thermostats

Sorry about not replying earlier.

Yes I drilled a bog hole though it and it still did the regeneration. However, I think the car got a bit confused about it because it did the regeneration very often after that lol!

I suggest you get the glow plug controller unit checked too! I've read that many people have had a broken controller that has broken the new glow plugs as well when not changed.
