I wish I would have read this earlier this morning. I had a window repair service come out and replace the driver's side window (shattered by lawn maintenance service ), anyway, the repair tech did not disconnet the battery and now I have an airbag/seat belt/tensioner error! I have my doubts on whether he connected the airbag plug correctly or not. I guess I'm stuck bringing it in to BMW for service.

somehow when i opened up the right door, i found the black plastic piece on top of the inner door panel ( along plastic black piece that hooks on the door?) was broken... I would like to replace it but i somehow cant get the part number... does anyone know?

help is much appreciated....

excellent write up! is it better to leave the windows all the way up or all the way down? any ideas? thanks

There is another philips screw you forgot to mansion oposite side of airbag logo coverd with a small plastic cover
