It just like some African-Americans want to straighten their hair, and some Caucasians want to make it curls. Some Asians want to dye their hair blond or red, and some Caucasian wants it black. Please don't defend the above statement because I just give it some example 
If yvesj want to replace chrome grill with black, I can show him how to do it if he trade the grill with me. I got my black grill out over the weekend just for curiousity. I was quite easy once you figure it out.

My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.
Hey, I'm interested in swapping my chrome grilles for a black one. Does anyone have a black one that they'd like to swap for my chrome one? I'm located in Los Angeles, but I'm willing to ship if anyone is willing to ship their's also. Please let me know, just PM me.

I guess I did not explained myself well enough.
I want to replace my chrome grille FRAMES with some that I have painted black.
See picture below.
Can anyone share an easy method to pop the grilles out?
