Kinda hard to help when you don't mention what engine (car, model year, etc.) you have...

Alternatively, we could help with generic instructions such as:

remove all the engine covers
slacken bolts holding manifold
remove bolts being careful not to drop them
fit new manifold
tighten bolts with appropriate torque
re-fit covers

(or you could start by taking a look at realoem diagrams)

Minor details, minor details. Plus, they are present on all models, aren't they? Just remove them between steps one and two, and put them back between steps five and six. Without spilling fuel all over the engine bay, preferably.

(I hope rito realises how much of a favour we are all doing him by keeping this thread afloat until he gives some sensible information...)

I have a 2004 530i E60 M54B30 MS 45 with a 6 speed manual.
I hope this helps.
Sorry for taking so long I have most of the manifold unbolted.
Trying to figure out the easiest way to get the last bolt on the bottom.
Still have not located the damn thing. Need photos or something.
Anyway send me a pm or email.

Sorry it took so long to get back with you. I just wanted to say thanks for you help.
I have been trying to find injector retainer clips and everything else. During the re install i have been having problems with the injectors leaking fuel. So i had to remove a few times and still not sure if i have a complete seal.
