Try the plasticX first which i did, "i tried everything before the wetsand method !!" if no result wetsand is the answer! the purpose of the wetsand is to eliminate the top coat down to a new layer of plastic elimating all grim, sun damage and rock pits.

Looks like new !!

Before everyone here is starting wet sanding their headlights I feel the need to give a little warning. With this process you also remove the UV-protective coating which prevents the plastic to turn dull, so beware that after this the headlights have to be treated more often to keep them shiny.

You are totally right. but that's why you use the finish wax to coat the headlight with a protective layer. this has uv protection i believe but not as good as factory of course, just a bit of plastic-x every once in a while after a nice wash or any wax with uv protection would do the job. it's way worth it!

After reading this I did a little research and found this

303 Aerospace Protectant

It might help with the UV protection
