From the looks of it, it's cut. Or maybe a really thin soldering gun.

true, as opening the headlights seems to be the biggest hang up for anyone/everyone else that wants to consider this mod...that's why i was wondering how the OP managed to get the headlight open....

I'm really thinking about doing this. I was gonna buy a new pair of headlights but I may have the balls to mod my current ones.
