I don`t know what kind a dealers you have fellas, but i recently bought from mine in Riga set of two for 26 USD or 18.50 EUR and changed my self for 8 minutes

I've seen those but I went with a local seller, just because I know I can find them if I have to. I might try the less expensive one next time.

I just replaced the microfilters myself which was long overdue. This is gotta be the easliest DIY maintenance, I've ever done. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. And I saved myself almost $150. The stealer wants $190 for this service, I said "No, thanks." and then ordered the OEM filters from eBay for $42 shipped.

Yes. You need one on each side. There are 2 filters to change.

does the 2008 550i have one or two microfilter(s)? and why would it need two if it actually does? Is the charcoal filter better or the plain cotton filters?
