by the way after i removed all my rear seating to feed wiring through to cabin from boot i discovered that you can feed cables under the rear seat back from inside the boot easily, just get a feed stiff cable or plastic and remove floor carpet liner in your case feed into car by pushing it through and under seat back then you can come up on inside of armrest from underneath to the back of the armrest.the armrest centre /back seat trim removes easilly by removing the plugs /2\ at base and pushing upwards and lifting out just a lip on the top ,the seatback sides make it apear tight with the padding..
i am sure the pdf for dissambling the arm rest is on the forum i remember seeing it a few months ago.and there are additional trim inserts ,cupholder/etc that you can get.

a thought maybe you want these leads in rear of centre consul. you can feed the cables easilly under the carpet over tunnel into the inside of consul at rear
just remove rear cubby hole under vents, use a blunt blade on bottom edges 10mm from base of insert and release 2 clips ,one each side do this and then pull out from base and moving it downwards at the asame time ,a retaiing lip affixes to upper section ,vents.
then access inside the 2 bolts/nuts one each side holding down the consul to tunnel remove nuts completely slide of side trim in rear wards direction at front of tunne/consul <carpeted trim thin strip>.
remove the washer screwnuts 1 each side.
this then allows the consul to lift slightly
support this and inside rear wher the handbrake cables are cut slightly through carpet so as to feed a draw wire in and under carpet towards rear seat.
obviously you have to take out rear seat squab, just lift front up and pull it out.
tghen you can release enough carpet to get your hand in and feeel tghe draw wire up over squab then pull back to draw wire through.
you could then mount the sockets and if you also fed 12v cable through at same time you could add a socket for power onto the cubbyhole or get a replacement panel. with various options.
okay might help your thoughts.

TIS doesnt say how to take THAT part apart. I was only able to find the very basic instructions on how to remove the whole center arm rest.

These documents may or may not help you since they are instructions on how to remove/replace the armrest. Most likely if you remove it, you'll be able to accomplish what you're trying to do.

Since I wasn't sure what type of rear seat you have, I'm posting two documents. One document is for the standard (basic) rear seat and other one is for the fold-down rear seat (through-loading).

Good luck...

Basic:

Through-loading:

Unfortunately, I don't think that removing the armrest will help anyone disassemble it. Has anyone succeded to disassemble the rear seat armrest?

Anyone have info on how to do this? My daughter dropped a penny into 7 on the diagram and now I have a rattle problem.

Thanks.
