I noticed a post in this section that pertains to changing the 6MT gear oil, it included tech data from BMW which is a BIG help since my SA gave me a retarded look when I asked him to do the job. Does anyone have similar information about the rear diff. oil change? I really would like to change these fluids regardless of what BMW says about "lifetime" fluids. Just what the hell is THEIR definition of "lifetime" anyway!

Lifetime = Just long enough for the warranty period to expire making it no longer BMW's problem.
