I don't have the files handy, I'll try to get them tonight but this may give you a hint.

I have tried everything in the thread other than disconnecting the TCU. I have a friend at Continental Automotive (formerly Motorola) who designs the TCUs for our cars, he said GPS would be lost if the TCU is removed from the MOST bus.

My Dension is working well for music, I can control an iPod and get text displayed. Also, Bluetooth streaming works perfectly. However, the phone portion just isn't recognized by the car. When I go in to the bluetooth menu, I can never check the box to enable bluetooth, it just doesn't work. My TCU is not a bluetooth enabled unit, so I don't think it is a conflict between two bluetooth devices.

OK, so you can pair your phone to the Dension BTA1500 and use your phone to play music? Can you receive a call placed to your phone while paired? Will the incoming call show on the idrive (with accept or reject messages)?

I can pair and play music fine. If I receive a call while playing music, there is no indication of the call on idrive. however, if i answer the call on my phone, the audio will stream through the audio system of the car and the microphone will work to take the call. So everything seems to work, minus the iDrive integration. I have been messing with NCSExpert and coding for on and off for over a year trying to figure out what setting needs to be changed.

I probably won't be able to get to my coding laptop until Tuesday evening. If you haven't already, try searching and then asking over at the coding forum http://www.bmwcoding.com/forum.php

I have posted on BMW coding before with no luck. Maybe I will try it again. I am out of town through Sunday, so I won't be able to see if anything works on my car until next week anyway. Thanks for the help though.
