Can someone add info on how to remove the arm rest or provide a hint of how to route the eject box cable through the "inaccessable" path at the back of the box?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The instructions posted pretty much cover everything you need to install the eject box.

The following document (already posted in post #6 above) is the only thing I can think of that might answer the question:
Attachment 136546

If that doesn't answer it, can you clarify your question?

I am having the same problem. Look at page 3 of the PDF in post #6 and it says that "the driver's armrest and plastic trim" must be removed to route harness. I sure the hell can't figure out how to do it and neither could Mr. Belk in his early DIY install of the ejectbox

Check! Now how about that plastic trim? (It is the piece that the armrest is connected to.)

I was able to route the harness without removing the plastic trim. Thanks for your help Rudy.
