Computer reset

My Ride: 2005 BMW525i 20 inch wheels, tinted tails windows, and headlights, acs style spoiler, painted calipers, HID fogs, angelibrights, 1999 Chevy S-10-lambo doors, retractable license plate, rims, lowered, custom thru body kit exhaust w/twin slash tips, ect..., 2007 gsxr750 fully modded.
so i just paid a dealership 130 dollars for an oil change, wanted to know if the write up for the 535 is the same for the 525, i was told the oil change was expensive because it had to be "vacuumed' out and some complicated way but.....i guess not. So next time i do it, how do i reset the computer? or do i just not worry about that? and if i install a K&N air filter, do i have to re-map the computer or anything? or just install and go?

will use it more often sry, still learning- didnt know what they meant by 'idrive" and a fewthings but im getting it figured out...WOW and they charge us $60 for resetting that at dealerships in Raleigh, NC.....HATE DEALERSHIPS

so anybody want to tell me what the microfilters do?

yes sure can . the micro filters two of. sit just below the wiper arms when you have the bonnet open. one on each side of the bulkhead.(thay are under black plastic covers)
They filter out all the muck smog pollen or fine particle that would other wise enter the cabin. when they are badly blocked and dirty your fresh air coming into the cabin of the car is probably a lot less. air con works better when they are new.
i think they should be chaged at 30 k but i would suggest they are done sooner. maybe 10-15 k
