The new head rest looks great! Your seat colour is the same as mine. How comfortable is the new head rest ?

Very good write up with many photos !! One thing though, with your modification, the head rest will not lock/stay at certain height ? The original manual head rest has slot/cut such that you can adjust the height. Now, with the new comfort head rest, you cannot do that anymore, correct ?

Hi
the blue PER is "in force"... look at last picture : driver headrest is (and remains) in upper position.
If the blue PER tube has been too large, the headrest would easily go down... but not in my case as 16mm is the exact needed diameter (moreover as the PER is delivered as roll, it is not streight as a metallic tube and creates resistance)

Free to anyone to find other "tube" replacement... I'm happy with my method and I think it will last as long as the car will be on the road

Hi !
Must I also add that the very first post of this thread shows that guide tubes are removed from the sport seat structure without putting something else to replace them that fit the new comfort headrest bar diameter... whereas I put the blue plastic bar to remove any lateral possible move of the headrest.
I guess that sport seats upgraders might consider buying the #52207046431 part and give feedback : perhaps they will fit on sport seat structure and in this case, you will not need the blue plastic home made that is shown in my PDF

Did you buy the #52207046431 part ? If you did, how much was it ?
