My Ride: E60 2006 525d Steptronic, Carbon Black, M Sport-Package, Style 135M Rims, Beige Interior, Dark Poplar Wood Trim, Comfort Seats, Professional Navigation with BMW Online and BMW Assist, HUD, Logic7, TV, Bluetooth, Speech Control, Active Steering, Adaptive Bi-Xenon, 6-Disc Changer, Heated Seats (front and back), Extended Climate, PDC, Sunroof, Auto-Dim. Int + Folding Exterior Mirrors, Electric Rear- and Side Blinds, Foldable rear seats, Electric Adjustable Steering Wheel
We bought original BMW chrome kidneys on ebay last week and today I mounted them.
But this took me about two hours
It was kinda difficult to take out the old kidneys. At first I didn't want to damage the old ones, but then I realized there's no other way. Anyway the look really good

.Nice DIY, too bad you needed to damage the old ones. Quite sure that didn't need to be...

Sure that didn't need to be but I didn't want to chance that I cannot fasten the bumper again.
