I will shortly be leasing a 05, 530 and want the latest software which i think is 15.x. Before i leave the dealership i want to make sure i can check the version in the car. What exact instructions do i need to navigate in the idrive system to check the current version. Does this version support bluetooth or do i need something else? Your help would be helpfull guys thx.

 

A new car allways has the newest software.
There is no way you can see it in idrive, but your dealer can tell you what version your car has.
A new car does support BT, only older cars are having problems with it.
