another one from slovakia should be white but seller did mistake an sent me blue leds ... i figured it out after iu conected cluster white leds are on the way

Depends on the mistake we're talking about. You could rip the ribbon, fry the board, or break something while taking it apart.

I was scrolling thru the DYI pictures and saying nahh not worth the effort, 'till i saw how nice it looked.. I wanna get it done too!! just can't decide whether I wanna clean my garage or do this DYI..

anybody tried putting red leds for the needles? would this intensify the redness they light up?

could do this but need to find a red led right size.

It's probably easier/safer to order the actual M5 needles online or through dealership.
