Thanks 545RV,

My ETA for my 545i is mid December. According to the online order tracking, my car is finished production and is awaiting transport. It's been in this mode for a few days so hopefully soon it will hit the boat.

Talk to you all soon,

Hi bmwin14rsm,

I'm undecided about what shade of tint to go (40% or 50%).

I saw 28% in rear and 40% in front. It looked good. It wasn't HO but for comparison, the % didn't look too dark.

Welcome to the board.

The tint looks great. However, I haven't been home during the day to see or take photo's of the car. When I can get the car in the sun, I will take a photo and post it. My experiance with Wintech was great. The installer, Sal, was very nice.

Yikes! I thought about getting the ceramic tints but close to $500... Its not the $500 but I dont want to get cited and then have to remove them and then reapply them again.

You can only get cited for the front windows in California.

Yup but all our cars are tinted the same all around... just prefer it that way... for the price and risk... hummm I'll have to think about ceramic tints... its cheaper to rip off regular tints and re-tint them.
