I have a May 2007 520d se and wanted to add the glovebox 6 cd changer

I can pick one up on ebay part number 65 12 6 938 975 whcih I believe is the latest version, however, my question is

Is this a retro fit cd changer plug and play or do I need the dealer to activate / update software??

Cheers

You will need the OEM cable and CCC recode.
