Car Key

I drop my keys in water and now it does respond is there a way to repair this does it take time to dry out on its own or do I have to get a new key and does anyone know how much this would cost about and where I can get the best price for the key I have 06 530i thank you

If water has got onto the microchips it is most unlikely that it will work even when it has dried.You can only get a replacement from BMW , I don't know where you are,but in the UK the cost is approximately ?100.
