Battery Replacement

The battery in my 05 525i needs to be switched out. I've done this plenty of times on other vehicles; however, I was wondering if there is anything specific to these makes and models which may complicate the process. Should a replacement battery be readily available at most auto part stores? Will it cause any malfunctions regarding vehicle indicators and/or electronics? I presume the battery is located in the trunk; if I'm wrong, please point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Brandon

I just posted this

I replaced my battery with one from batteries plus this was the only local dealer that I found that had a similar battery with the same Cold cranking amps.
Overall no complaints. I had an active steering error, had to reset the date and time, but all was minor. The active steering was fixed by turning the steering whell both was and restarting the car.
