AUX cable mod

Can you clarify on this at all? I've got an E61 and the aux socket is on the rear console. I've checked the wire coming out of it and as far back as I can pull/feel there is no evidence of this circuit board. Are you saying that one needs to take apart the house block itself that the minijack plugs in to? In the photo below this would be the block with the embossed 'A' on it between the cigarette sockets.

I have the same question/problem as omega_man.
Where on the AUX cable are the resistors/circuit board located in the E61 rear center console?

Hi

I have a orginal AUX set (part nr 65120153502) fitted in my E60.

Does this cable have the card/bord mounted? My sound sucks on the AUX :-(
