I think someone else wanted to try this. you can give it a shot but i think the dimming would be an issue with HIDs. it won't hurt anything but they might just not light up properly at which point i'd suggest removing it. Worth a shot... try it and let us know

 

don't quite understand what you mean... the AE's and the headlights are seperate. if you only want the AE's to come on you tap into the 12V wire for both AE's. if you want the headlights to come on as well then you'd tap 4 wires. 2 x AE and 2 x headlights.

 

i was talking about the Fogs coming on only on ignition not with the footwell lights.

 

ohh yeah.. just wire your cig lighter to the fogs and make sure you put a diode in. that should work just fine actually. the fogs will have a short intermittance when you turn on the car bc the voltage level drops but they should come right back on.

this might actually b my next project since i always have the fogs on anyway

 

Yea i thought it would work as well. I just need to know which wires to tap into for fogs? Does the harness by the headlight also have wiring for the fogs or do i have to go under to tge fogs thenselves?

Just got done wiring up my AE's and they worked like a charm, best mod for $12 I say...

 

sht i cant do this mod since i have no projectors and pre lci :thumbsdown:
