Many thanks

The instructions worked a treat.
Mathmos you have provided a really useful feature for the SatNav

Next Wish list

1. Use the TMC feature to display mobile sites in real time
2. Voice notification 200m in advance of the camera if speed is greater than the posted limit.
3. Use the same dsiplay process as TMC for displaying differing traffic conditions, to display the different speed limits

Anybody with the skills???

Great work and instructions. I got there after blowing 5 dvd's, I was editting the HTM files with worpad, once I did it with Vedit was ok.

I find the software with the edited dvd is very slow in the car, about 2 times slower. Nevertheless is a great thing to have afterall we do not want to be banned from driving our fantastic cars and we don't want to drive at only 70mph either

Please note that the every navigation DVD version is slightly different. So try and understand the steps rather than copying files blindly.

I've put all the information regarding adding speed camera POI to your SatNav DVD together in one place HERE along with some screen shots which will hopefully make some parts clearer.

For any corrections or additions, please PM me

what version did you install? I suggest http://www.cygwin.com/setup.exe and when you run it you choose to install the perl modules.

When I run setup I get a window Cygwin Setup - Select Packages.

View is highlighted and there is a dot in Curr

If I click the icon on the desktop I get a few lines then a doller symbol ?

If I then type the command nothing happens.

Not sure where I am going wrong.

Is there an easy uninstall.

Thanks.

Did not see anything about a module.

Makes me think I am on the wrong area.
