I went to the dealership and asked them to check my headlights they tried stealing 1300$ just for the headlight to get fixed .IDK how it broke or got stuck but Does anyone know how to move the driver side adaptive light up. Its stuck downwards. The light works fine but im guessing the motor is just broken? Anyone got any suggestions?

take the light out and open it up.
but even if you find something broken inside, will you be able to find parts for it?

yeah i wanna do that.. im not really trying to pay $1300 for right now. if anything i rather switch the headlights to the 08-09 models. I just want to tilt the adpative light up and just leave it as is for now

Are you out of warranty? No CPO?.. I had this happen to me but it was covered under CPO.

Do an ebay search for parts.. i've seen the adaptive headlights sell for a few hundred dollars... better than paying dealer over 1000

my x5 passenger headlight is stuck facing to the right, went to dealer they said the light was faulty so they replaced it
two days later the new headlight gets stuck to a side
havent gone back since, but my guess is not the actual headlight but the control unit? i want to disable my adaptive headlights

disable? so its just stuck in the middle? i actually just want it to stay in the middle idk. im putting my new AE's on soon so maybe i can just tilt it up
